Meet The Team

Joshua Richards-Fisher

BSc (Hons) Graduate Sports Therapist

MSc Strength and Conditioning Coach

Owner and Founder of Reflex Sports and Exercise Conditioning Therapies.

Joshua began his career as a Graduate Sports Therapist who had a keen interest in the exercise and education led aspects of rehabilitation. Specifically, he yearned to bridge the gap between the Sports Therapy led aspects of rehabilitation, as well as the Strength and Conditioning roles that inevitably merge. Currently, he is coming to the end of completing his MSc in Strength and Conditioning. He has had experience with general populations, amateur, semi-elite and elite athletes in multiple sporting disciplines. Conversely, he intends to work within different populations and sporting backgrounds, to gain further knowledge and diversify his skill-set. He is deeply interested and passionate about researching and applying the practical aspects of rehabilitation and performance strategies, relating to tendinopathies. He is currently conducting research as part of his final MSc project, exploring the effects of maturity on muscle architecture and how it affects performance measures relating to the drop jump in soccer players. In the future, he aims to become more involved with research investigating the morphology of soft tissues; and how they're influenced through exercise, nutritional strategies and musculoskeletal conditions.
